Memorabilia & Collectibles
Memorabilia and collectibles can range from sports autographs, political paraphernalia, movie and television souvenirs, military objects, magazines, and almost anything else commemorating or celebrating an event or time period. There is almost no end to the objects that can be collected; the only limit is the collector’s interests. Many of the objects collected are very rare even though they may have been mass produced at one time. Sports memorabilia of every kind is very popular and memorabilia and collectables associated with cultural icons such as the Beatles and Elvis Presley are almost as popular. Memorabilia and Collectibles are not typically high art but can sometimes fetch prices comparable to an oil painting. They reflect the personal interests of the collector and many devote themselves to a lifelong pursuit of memorabilia and collectibles that suit their interests.
